On Monday, I had to admit that it wasn't a good idea to ignore the pain in my left lower calf, and I got carried away in the last two weeks. I looked for treatments on the internet, but Wednesday's running ended at 6,6 km because of ankle pain. It was so frustrating, and I was afraid it won't heal easily, and I had to rest more than I wish. I followed the wisdom of the internet and realized I needed new shoes. On Thursday, the lockdown has been announced again, so the next day, I bought my most expensive pair of shoes ever without hesitation. I couldn't resist trying them immediately, and the result was comforting. On Sundays, I run 10km usually. Today, I stopped at 9km, I really hope I won't regret not doing it earlier. But the fun starts after 6-7 km, and I needed it after worrying for a week. Altogether a modest 21,4km for this week, and I am glad, it could have been worse. I am planning an easy week with 2 or 3 runs, but we will see how it goes...
There's only one way to run, and that's your own, your own, your own.

Habits
Towards the end of October 2020, I noticed a change in my habits. I have started planning the running days for the following week in the calendar, not just marked the days when I went for a run. And running became regular since then. Started with 4 km, addicted by Christmas, over 10 by the end of January, 60 km in the last two weeks, over 150 km this year according to Strava. So next week: Wed, Fri, Sun...
I'll start tomorrow... :)
Here is our blog to motivate each other, to have fun, to ventilate to put smiles on faces and to run our own way.
Welcome!
